Owner-operated since 2014

A crew of arborists, quietly raising the bar on tree work in Waterloo Region.

Started as a stump grinder. Grew into a full-service tree company. Still owner-operated, still answering the phone, still showing up when we said we would.

Our story

Started with a stump grinder. Grew into a full-service tree company.

Complete Stump & Tree Removal Inc. is a trusted, owner-operated tree service proudly serving Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph and surrounding areas. With over ten years of hands-on experience, we deliver professional, affordable and reliable tree care for residential and commercial properties across Waterloo Region.

We started as a stump grinding company. After three years on the ground, we expanded into a full-service tree company. Today our crew specializes in tree removal, pruning, stump grinding and storm cleanup — including hazardous and technical takedowns and crane removals in tight-access areas. Several members of our crew are ISA Certified Arborists, bringing advanced knowledge in tree care, safety and proper pruning techniques in accordance with industry standards.

We are fully insured and committed to safety, clean worksites and honest pricing. Our team uses professional equipment and proven techniques to ensure every job is completed efficiently, with minimal disruption to your property.

Not every month is right for every cut. Here's when to call.

Dormant pruning

Late winter is when we prefer to prune most hardwoods — cuts heal faster, disease pressure is lower, and with the leaves off, structure is easier to read.

Plant health & injection

Early spring is injection season for Emerald Ash Borer and many preventive treatments. Deep-root fertilization for stressed trees runs through early autumn.

Fungicide & mosquito

Mosquito suppression runs through the warm season. Fungicides for needle-cast, apple scab and tar-spot are timed around bud-break and leaf-out.

Removals

Late summer through autumn is our heaviest removal season — leaves start revealing structural problems, and dry weather keeps truck access easy. We book fast; reserve early.

★★★★★
They took down a silver maple that had been leaning over the garage for a decade. Showed up when they said, finished a day early, and you'd never know the tree was there, except for the sunlight.

Honest about the storm window, kept us in the loop, and the yard looked better than before they started. Telling every neighbour.

Four stumps gone in an afternoon, all eight inches below grade, fully backfilled. Grinder fit through a thirty-six-inch gate as promised.
